yesterday morning we finally got some test carts together 🎉
We did an extraction of the sour sorbet and after the warm water bath we flooded the Pyrex with 190 proof grain alcohol.
after we separated the fats and lipids fro. The solution we purged off the alcohol on a heat mat and finished the purging off in the vac chamber
After some time in the chamber it was then time to collect and weigh what we had for a final extract
we ended up with 3 grams after deductions. We then dropped the extract into a measuring shot glass and added twice as much Wax Liquidizer in blueberry to it.
Adding 6ml of wax Liquidizer and bringing it up to temp then Mixing It we are then ready to fill our cartridges.
It’s simple when making carts but the steps need to be taken properly for a quality end product 🎉
We did get our new wax room batteries in the other day. And they go well with our wax room carts. Each battery cones in a plain white box so we started adding random slaps to them to make them look coooooool 😎 😂
and we have 95 more boxes to go 🎉
Today the flower room will be getting the microscope and we will be checking trichomes and figuring a good harvest window. Both of these are in 3 gallon fabrics for two reasons. 1. Fabric pots allow 100% of your medium to have air flow opposed to plastic pots which only allow about 25% of your medium to have air flow. Air flow helps roots grow vigorously. Every time a root enters a air pocket it splits. and 2. The pots dry out a bit quicker allowing more feeding/watering to be done without over watering.
the marshmallow gobbstopper from Pure Smoke Boutique has a killer peppery smell but does seem like we are starting to get hints of fruit or berry behind it. This is a new one for us. Most strains we have ran through here have a skunk or cheese base with hints of berry so I’m curious how this flower will cure out. We only feed with base nutes and many of you have told me that you can’t grow great weed with base nutes 🤣 but once we start running additives we should have 💥 💥 flower. learning what the base nutes do first is important that we know what is doing what and making adjustments won’t be such a guessing game. And running 3 gallon pots helps with the roots “mature” a bit quicker and helps with gettin g a good final flower without having to veg for so long. “Bigger the root bigger the fruit” 🎉
